Efficiency compared to market

Within the framework of a benchmark project, Metrics compares the cost-effectiveness of a client's IT services in a peer comparison with the market. Depending on the scope and depth of the assessment the client can receive a certificate and a badge per area showing the classification. This also can be used for internal marketing purposes.

The assessment areas are divided into:

  1. Cross Functions
  2. Support
  3. End User Computing
  4. Network
  5. Infrastructure and Platforms
  6. Applications
  7. Rate Cards

Good Practice: Cost-effectiveness – also referred to as price-performance or cost-performance ratio – indicates how efficiently the company uses or offers its resources in the area under consideration in a market comparison and is close to the average value of the peer group. Economic efficiency was determined to be in line with the market.

Best Practice: Cost-effectiveness – also referred to as price-performance or cost-performance ratio – indicates how efficiently the company uses or offers its resources in the area under consideration in a market comparison and is in the first or best quartile of the comparison group. The market comparison demonstrates particularly good cost-effectiveness.

Excellence: Cost-effectiveness – also referred to as price-performance or cost-performance ratio – indicates how efficiently the company uses or offers its resources in the area under consideration in a market comparison and is in the first or best quartile of the comparison group. A particularly good price-performance or cost-performance ratio was determined, along with a high level of future-proofing, due to best in class services, innovative offers and solutions.
