At Metrics, sustainability is not only a consultancy and benchmarking project for clients, but also an objective which we implemented and improve on an ongoing basis for ourselves. That is why we have set ourselves our own benchmark through EcoVadis, because we also want to learn from the best. We were able to achieve a silver medal in our first attempt and rank among the top six percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis in our sector and size category.
The EcoVadis methodology is based on international sustainability standards (Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact, ISO 26000) and is overseen by a scientific panel of CSR and supply chain experts to produce reliable CSR ratings. Over 300 multinational companies use EcoVadis to monitor the sustainability performance of their trading partners.
