Metrics expands sourcing advisory

Sourcing expert Markus von Grünigen has taken up the position of Principal Consultant at Metrics Switzerland AG on 1 January 2023. He will support our clients in all phases of the sourcing lifecycle.
Zurich - Sourcing expert Markus von Grünigen has taken up his position as Principal Consultant at Metrics Switzerland AG on 1 January 2023. As a sourcing advisor, he will support Metrics' clients in all phases of the sourcing lifecycle and further expand the business area. Von Grünigen joins Metrics from sourcing consultant Navisco, where he worked for over 13 years.
"The move to Metrics and the strong international team provide me with the ideal foundation to support clients in a holistic way and to create added value in all areas of the IT organisation," says von Grünigen. Central elements are the professional provider evaluation to create high-performance IT ecosystems as well as the support of operational implementation during transition and transformation.

Sourcing expert von Grünigen is very well connected in the Swiss IT market. Over his long career, he has held various positions at service providers and software manufacturers, ranging from sales to bid and business management. With his start at Metrics, he continues the path as a sourcing advisor. Von Grünigen: "The technological opportunities and the economic potential of sourcing partnerships are not the only things that have changed significantly - the challenges for organisations have also increased. This makes external sourcing of IT services a highly important topic, especially in current times."
