What will IT budgets look like in 2025, what strategic IT issues will be a priority for companies, and what measures are IT managers taking to counteract rising costs? Once again, we have teamed up with VOICE, the German association of IT users, to find the answers. IT Agenda 2025 focuses on IT costs and artificial intelligence (AI).

Applications are the strategic part of enterprise IT, with software accounting for more than half of the IT budget. Optimising them to achieve Application Excellence is not a monumental project, but an evolutionary journey. In the free evaluation of our Application Excellence 2024 survey, we show where progress is being made and where action is needed.

Together with the Federal Association of IT Users VOICE e.V., we have determined how the IT budget will develop in 2024, prioritised strategic IT topics and anticipated areas where cost increases may occur. The primary focus of this year's research is centred around Business Capabilities and SAP S4/HANA.
